Chilly but clear weather forecast for Thanksgiving

After an icy start to Tuesday, Nov. 24, conditions are expected to remain cold but clear over the next several days.

A few flurries will be possible in the northern Red River Valley but, for the most part, clear, quiet conditions are forecast for Thanksgiving Day in the Grand Forks area.

Mild conditions are expected for the next several days after an icy start to Tuesday, Nov. 24, according to the WDAY Storm Tracker.

Tuesday evening will be mostly clear with wind speeds of up to 10 mph and a low temperature of 17.

Wednesday will have mostly sunny skies, with winds up to 15 mph, a high temperature of 38 and a low of 23.

On Thanksgiving day, wind speeds will reach 10 to 25 mph, and temperatures will reach a high of 34 and a low of 22.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, no hazardous weather is forecast over the next seven days.
