MEMORIAL DAY

As storms passed through Greater Grand Forks Monday morning, it prompted the Legion/VFW to bring most of the ceremony indoors.
The Grand Forks Memorial Day ceremony was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 30, at Memorial Park North Cemetery, but was canceled due to heavy rain, thunder and lightning. It will not be rescheduled for another day this year.
Monday is Memorial Day, a day set aside for us to remember the men and women who died while serving their country.
