The market for its airplanes has grown through the pandemic, but the company's ability to hire more people has been hindered by housing.

The dean of UND's aerospace program says they're still working to move forward after a tragic and painful loss. 19-year-old John Hauser died in a plane crash in what appears to be a suicide.
According to an email sent out to all flight instructors and students by Dick Schultz, director of flight operations, the aviation department continued its “safety stand down” on Wednesday, following a plane crash on Monday in which UND student John Hauser was killed. The university grounded all flights on Tuesday. Dual flight training will resume on Thursday, and solo flight training is expected to begin on Wednesday, Oct. 27.

While playing pro hockey, two years removed from the U of M, Johnson is also immersed in flight school, earning his pilot's license and aiming to follow his father into commercial aviation someday.
