Minnesota hunters shoot fewer deer during this year's firearms season

Hilary Stoltman, 84, of Thief River Falls shot this buck near Thorhult, Minn., during the Minnesota firearms deer season. Stoltman says had just lit the heater in his box stand when he looked up and saw the buck standing about 30 yards away. The buck had just an average rack, but Stoltman says it had the biggest body he’d ever seen.
