Chase Farkas scored 18 points for the West Fargo Packers as they cruised to their 10th win on the season Tuesday at Central.

Central got off to a slow start and went into halftime down 40-25. "I thought we were careless with the ball early on in the game and it led to some easy buckets for them," said Central coach Dan Carlson.

Kyle Lajimodeire and Brady Johnson each had 15 points to lead the Knights. Johnson's 15 points included three 3-pointers. "Other than the start of the game I thought we played well. We did a nice job of getting the ball into Kyle and Brady shot the ball well," said Carlson.

The loss brought Central's record to 1-11 and was the Knights' 10th consecutive loss.

GF Red River 82, Devils Lake 78

Grand Forks Red River pulled out a conference win against Devils Lake, outscoring the Firebirds 49-38 in the first half.

"Down the stretch we played well together and were luckily able to put some things away, but we need to be better overall defensively and getting those defensive stops," said Red River coach Jason Gregory.

Luke Schreiner had 27 points in the win and eight assists to lead all players.

"(Schreiner) did a great job. Not only did he get his points but he had eight assists, which gets everybody involved," Gregory said.

Braden Battle and Matt Lee of Red River each had 13 points and Zach Soleim had 10.

Devils Lake's Ben Erickstad had 20 points to lead his team.
