A new local weekly sports television show is scheduled to start in August.
WDAZ in Grand Forks and WDAY in Fargo will produce a show focusing on area sports. It will air at 10:35 on Sunday nights beginning Aug. 16.
The 30-minute shows will be anchored by WDAY and WDAZ sportscasters Phil Neumann, Dom Izzo and Jody Norstedt. The focus will be on the local sports scene, including high school and college athletics.
“Viewers can expect the most comprehensive coverage of sports in the Red River Valley highlighting the best athletes in high school and college,’’ Izzo said.
