The UND football program picked up its second verbal commitment of the 2020 recruiting class with Waconia (Minn.) offensive lineman Bennett Weber.

Weber, who's 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, was an all-district pick and also excels in wrestling at Waconia.

Waconia High School has also produced UND redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Connor Kruse, who could start to push for playing time next season after battling injuries early in his career.

Weber is the second UND commitment of the 2020 recruiting class, joining Mandan High School wide receiver-tight end Elijah Klein.
