EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.

After 13 seasons and 179 games as a Minnesota Viking, tight end Jim Kleinsasser likely won't return next year, Visanthe Shiancoe said Monday.

Kleinsasser, a former University of North Dakota football star, is a free agent after this season.

"I think it will be," said Shiancoe about whether this is Kleinsasser's last year. "It's bad that he's going out this way, so we've got to make it as good as possible, you know what I'm saying?"

Primarily a blocker, Kleinsasser has 192 catches for 1,688 yards and six touchdowns in his career.
