New UND volleyball coach Jeremiah Tiffin's contract is a $90,000 deal spanning three and a half years, the Herald learned through an open records request.
Tiffin's term starts May 31, 2019, and runs through Dec. 31, 2022, with two opportunities for one-year extensions.
Tiffin's base salary of $90,000 is comparable to previous head coach Mark Pryor, who signed a four-year extension in November with a base of $105,000.
Before Pryor's November extension, his base salary in the first year of his contract was $85,000.
Like Pryor, Tiffin has bonus incentives such as conference tournament championship ($2,000) and conference coach of the year ($2,000), among more than a dozen others.

Pryor stepped down from the head job at UND April 24, citing family reasons. He soon after took a head job at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor , an NCAA Division III program in Belton, Texas.
UND named Tiffin as Pryor's replacement May 29 . Tiffin and UND athletic director Bill Chaves signed Tiffin's contract the same day.
