ST. PAUL - There's now a new way to address Danny Kristo and Corban Knight: Hobey Baker Award finalists.
Both of UND's senior forwards are among 10 finalists for the award that goes to the top player in college hockey.
There are two other finalists from the Western Collegiate Hockey Association: St. Cloud State senior forward Drew LeBlanc and Nebraska Omaha junior forward Ryan Walters.
The other finalists are Johnny Gaudreau from Boston College, Eric Hartzell from Quinnipiac, Austin Czarnik from Miami University, Carsen Chubak from Niagara and Kyle Flanagan and Greg Carey from St. Lawrence.
This marks just the third time in UND history that a pair of players are Hobey Baker Award finalists in the same year. In 2004, forwards Zach Parise and Brandon Bochenski both were finalists. In 2008, forward T.J. Oshie and Jean-Philippe Lamoureux were both finalists.

UND's most recent finalist was Matt Frattin in 2011.
On April 4, the list will be narrowed down to three - the Hobey Hat Trick - and on April 12, the winner will be announced at the NCAA Frozen Four in Pittsburgh.
UND has had two winners of the award - Ryan Duncan in 2007 and Tony Hrkac in 1987.
Kristo currently ranks second in the nation with 50 points in 37 games. He also ranks second nationally with 24 goals. Knight ranks seventh with 48 points and first with 571 faceoff wins.
