UND will play at Seattle University on Thursday in a first-round Women's Basketball Invitational game.
It will be the first postseason appearance for UND as a Division I program. The WBI is a single-elimination, 16-team tournament.
Seattle is 18-11 on the season.
UND is 21-10 after winning the Great West Conference postseason championship on Saturday.
Seattle and UND have played before. The met twice during the 2009-10 season with the Sioux winning twice.
