The open UND head women's basketball coaching position has been narrowed down to interim head coach Mallory Bernhard and Louisiana State assistant Aaron Kallhoff, the school said Tuesday.

Bernhard, a former UND standout, was named interim coach for the 2020-21 season after the school fired Travis Brewster last spring.

UND went 2-19 this past season, failing to qualify for the Summit League Tournament.

Kallhoff, a Norfolk, Neb., native, played college basketball at Bemidji State.

Kallhoff started his coaching career in men's basketball as the assistant at Allen County Community College and Seward County Community College.

After one year at Trinity Valley Community College, Kallhoff was an assistant coach at Arkansas State from 2013-15.

From 2015-18, Kallhoff was at TCU. He joined the LSU staff in 2018.
