UND coach Travis Brewster's latest recruiting trail ended up in the Twin Cities, although it really all started in Switzerland almost two decades ago.
In fact, Brewster used to babysit for the most recent Sioux commitment.
Mia Loyd, a 5-foot-10 DeLaSalle senior forward, confirmed Monday she's verbally committed to play college basketball at UND.
Brewster and Mia's father, Curtis, played basketball professionally together in Switzerland.
Curtis Loyd is now an assistant for the women's basketball team at Minnesota. He previously had stints at Virginia and Akron.

"He's known me my whole 18 years, I guess," Loyd said. "That made the decision easier for my parents, too. They trust him a lot, obviously."
Loyd averaged 13.0 points and 10.6 rebounds per game for DeLaSalle, which won the Minnesota state Class AAA title this winter.
In three games at the state tournament, Loyd averaged 10.7 points and 10.7 rebounds.
"No. 1, Mia is a very tough competitor," DeLaSalle coach Faith Johnson Patterson said. "She works extremely hard. Her work ethic is unlike any other."
Johnson Patterson said Loyd played most of the season at 85 to 90 percent health. Loyd has suffered two torn ACL injuries.
"This kid is really going to continue to grow," Johnson Patterson said. "She brings energy to the team on a consistent basis. Her teammates called her the Energizer bunny."
