Second period
WMU 1, UND 1 — Judd Caulfield (Owen McLaughlin, Tyler Kleven) 5:18 (pp). Caulfield continues to thrive against the Broncos with his eighth-career goal against Western. On this one, McLaughlin does most of the work. After an excellent zone entry by McLaughlin, he threads a pass to Caulfield, who is standing on top of the crease. Caulfield tips it past Western Michigan goalie Cameron Rowe.

UND 2, WMU 1 — Louis Jamernik V (Jackson Blake) 14:15. Blake gets dumped off the puck, but Gavin Hain wins a board battle to free it back up. Blake takes it on a two-on-one, dips around Western defender Carter Berger and flips a backhand feed to Jamernik on the backdoor. Jamernik finishes it for his second goal of the season.
