UND football's 2020 recruiting class adds Illinois prep LB

The UND football program picked up its 17th verbal commitment of the 2020 recruiting class over the weekend.

Quinn Urwiler, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound linebacker from Batavia, Ill., announced his decision on Twitter.

Urwiler is the first scholarship linebacker in the 2020 recruiting class, which features four walk-on athletes including two at the linebacker position.

Urwiler is the first Illinois prep to commit in this recruiting class. On defense, he had 46 tackles and five sacks during his junior season.
