The UND football program is coming off of one of its biggest wins in its Division 1 history.
North Dakota took down top five ranked opponent Sam Houston State, 24-23 on the road.
This is the highest ranked Division 1 team that the Fighting Hawks have beaten.
This win will serve as a massive confidence boost for UND going forward this season and shows the rest of the country that the Fighting Hawks can play with the top teams.
UND will now shift their focus to the 53rd Annual Potato Bowl where the Fighting Hawks will take on Idaho State at 4pm inside the Alerus Center.
