UND broke a four-game losing streak with a 79-70 win over Montana State on Saturday.
The Hawks also broke a three-game Big Sky Conference losing streak to improve to 1-3 in league play and 8-7 overall. Montana State, last season's Big Sky postseason tournament champion, dropped to 2-2 and 8-7.
Lexi Klabo and Fallyn Freije combined for 43 points and 16 rebounds
Klabo finished with 22 points while Freije added 21.
