UND picked up its first win of the season with a 70-43 women's basketball win over Mayville State on Tuesday night at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
UND improved to 1-3. Mayville came into the game 3-3.
Lexi Klabo led UND with 16 points while Fallyn Freije added 14. Bailey Strand finished with 10.
UND's aggressive perimeter defense forced Mayville into 26 turnovers.
Mayville was led by Andy Gayner's 12 point. Naomi Torgerson added 12.
