Travis Brewster has been promoted to associate head coach of the UND women's basketball team.
Brewster returned to UND for the 2008-09 season after brief stints with Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2006-07) and South Dakota State (2007). Previously, Brewster was an assistant women's coach at UND from 2002-2006. During the 2001-2002 season, he was a graduate assistant with the Sioux men's team.
"Travis not only brings experience to our coaching staff, but more specifically, he brings Division I experience," UND head women's basketball coach Gene Roebuck said. "His knowledge of the game and quality recruiting will help us to continually grow as a program."
During Brewster's time with the UND women's team, the Sioux have gone 130-30.
With South Dakota State, he helped coach the Jackrabbits to a 23-7 record, a Summit League regular season championship and a women's NIT postseason tournament appearance.
