Lexie Shaw has started 17 consecutive games in net for the UND women's hockey team.
Her teammates are doing their best to give her a break.
UND allowed just 11 shots on goal for the second-straight game as it dominated Lindenwood 5-0 on Friday afternoon in Wentzville, Mo.
Sophomore defenseman Taylor Flaherty scored her first-career goal and added an assist, while Amy Menke, Rebekah Kolstad, Kayla Gardner and Ryleigh Houston added tallies for the Fighting Hawks, who improved to 10-6-5.
Shaw earned her second-straight shutout by stopping all 11 shots-only three of which came during the game's first two periods.

The senior netminder will enter Saturday's 2 p.m. series finale on a scoreless streak of 135 minutes, 58 seconds.
Shaw's numbers are among the best in the country. She has a .939 save percentage (seventh), a 1.33 goals-against average (fourth) and six shutouts (third).
Her six shutouts are just three short of the single-season school record set by Shaw's predecessor, two-time Patty Kazmaier Award finalist Shelby Amsley-Benzie.
And while Shaw has been outstanding in replacing UND's all-time record-holder in every major goaltending category, she's also had quite a bit of help from her team.
The Fighting Hawks have only been outshot one time in the last 13 games. They've been even more impressive as of late.
In its last seven games, UND has allowed: 11, 11, 15, 18, 23, 13 and 16 shots on goal.
On Saturday, it held the Lions to just 11, despite being without star defenseman Halli Krzyzaniak, who is with the Canadian National Team. Finnish National Team forwards Emma Nuutinen and Vilma Tanskanen also were gone playing an international event.
Flaherty stepped in for Krzyzaniak and had her best-career game. The Lakeville, Minn., product had no points in her first 30 career games. She had a goal and an assist against 3-12-2 Lindenwood.

Freshman defenseman Abby Thiessen also added two assists, while fellow rookie defenseman Abbey Stanley got to enjoy a victory playing minutes away from her St. Louis home.
After today's game, UND will be off until Jan. 13.
