Two from GF join bowling hall of fame

Barry Zimmerman of Grand Forks, Gerald Schmidt Sr. of Devils Lake and John Job of Bismarck were inducted Saturday into the North Dakota State Bowling Hall of Fame.

Barry Zimmerman of Grand Forks, Gerald Schmidt Sr. of Devils Lake and John Job of Bismarck were inducted Saturday into the North Dakota State Bowling Hall of Fame.

Zimmerman entered the living ability portion of the hall. That section honors bowlers who have displayed outstanding ability in the game of American Ten Pins.

Job and Schmidt entered in the living meritorious service portion of the hall, which honors individuals who have promoted the sport.
