Jolin Goulet of Thompson, N.D., shared this story about the big walleye her twin daughters, Norah and Nylah Goulet, 5, teamed up to land during a recent fishing trip to Devils Lake with their dad, Trent Goulet, uncle Troy Goulet and cousins Brayden and Payton Goulet of Grand Forks:

My twin girls are 5 and went fishing at Devils Lake (for their first time) with their cousins, uncle and dad over the Fourth of July weekend. They both caught their first fish and then later ended up taking turns reeling in a 28 7/8-inch walleye!

Their dad and uncle were crazy excited (they are also twins), and have been fishing since they were 5 and have never caught one that big!

They are planning to have the fish mounted.

My husband said what made it unbelievable is that they were using an ultralight rod with 8-pound test fishing line with a slip bobber.
