The story: UND's penalty kill continued reeling, giving up three more power-play goals Saturday against the Bulldogs. UND lost an eighth-straight game to Minnesota Duluth dating back to the 2016 National Collegiate Hockey Conference playoffs.

Lineup notes: UND played without four players. Top-line center Rhett Gardner, who was injured last Friday blocking a shot against Bemidji State, missed his third-straight game. Goalie Peter Thome missed his second-straight game with an undisclosed injury. Ryan Anderson served as backup. Rookie defenseman Gabe Bast, who was injured Friday, missed Saturday's game. And sophomore forward Zach Yon was out with an illness. Collin Adams returned to the lineup after missing the last three games. Minnesota Duluth made one lineup change, going with Nick Swaney for Avery Peterson, who took four penalties Friday.
