Hunters and anglers in northeastern North Dakota will have a chance to talk hunting and fishing with some of the top officials in the state Game and Fish Department on Monday night in Grand Forks.
The Game and Fish Department's fall advisory board meeting for District 4 is set for 7 p.m. in Ambassador Room C of the CanadInn. The Grand Forks County Wildlife Federation is hosting the meeting. District 4 covers Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina and Walsh counties.
The Game and Fish Department holds the meetings every spring and fall in each of the state's eight advisory board districts to bring hunters and anglers up to speed on department issues and activities and to hear sportsmen's concerns.
For more information on Monday night's advisory board meeting, contact Ron Houdek, Tolna, N.D., advisory board member for District 4, at (701) 262-4724. Or better yet, just show up at the meeting and hear what Game and Fish staff have to say. If previous fall advisory board meetings are any indication, deer hunting will be a prominent topic of discussion.
The District 3 advisory board meeting for Benson, Cavalier, Eddy, Ramsey, Rolette and Towner counties is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Cavalier County Courthouse in Langdon, N.D. Info: Tracy Gardner, advisory board member, (701) 662-5639.
