Kedon Sweetney,
Warroad
Warroad spotted Roseau a 16-0 lead Friday, then made a huge comeback led by Sweetney.

Sweetney accounted for six of Warroad's seven touchdowns in the 52-42 win. He rushed for 373 yards and five TDs, and returned a punt 50 yards for another score. Sweetney has rushed for 986 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
Cross Country:
Ashley Perez,
Dakota Prairie
The freshman didn't make the top 10 in last week's Class B state coaches' poll. So, on Monday, Perez went out and won the Larimore Invitational meet and, in the process, beat three runners who were ranked in the top 10 last week.
Perez, a standout distance runner in track, is in her first year running cross country. The Larimore meet was her second title this fall and she's been a top-10 finisher in the other two races in which she's competed.

Chad Bartosh,
GF Red River
After alternating at quarterback with Luke Hodnefield early in the season, Bartosh took over the position fulltime when Hodnefield was injured. On Friday, the junior had his most productive game of the season, going 12-of-20 for 166 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-18 win against Mandan.
For the season, Bartosh has completed 43-of-81 passes for 486 yards and eight touchdowns for the 5-1 Roughriders.
Golf:
Cali Halverson,
Red River
The senior led the Roughriders to a fifth-place finish this week at the North Dakota Class A state meet.

Halverson had rounds of 89 and 87. Her 186 was low score for the Riders and ranked 18th overall at state. Halverson finished the season with a 90.8 average.
