Senior High boys

Coach: Jake Jensen.

2017: 4-12-1, eliminated in first round of Section 8A tournament.

Key graduation losses: Conner Tice, Felix Zungia.

Returning regulars (goals-assists): Sr. Parker Anderson (2-9, all-conference), sr. Abdifatah Abdi (all-conference), sr. Mohammed Barkadleh (6-1), jr. Abdinajib Abdi (3-0), jr. Abdimalik Abdi (3-0), Mohammed Yousif (1-1), jr. Drew Kallock.

Potential new impact players: Sr. Hunter Twite, sr. Christian Widman, sr. Blake Felch.

Green Wave coach Jensen says: "We return almost everybody. I think we'll have a pretty good defensive corps, led by our goalkeepers, Kallock and Felch (injured last season). Abdifatah and Hunter will be the leaders of our defensemen. Parker will control things in the middle. We're not sure where the goals will come from. I don't know if we have a guy who will score 20 goals. But collectively we have a good goal-scoring group.''

Senior High girls

Coach: Jessica Bina.

2017: 18-1, lost 2-1 in overtime to Bemidji in Section 8A championship.

Key graduation losses: Brooke Filipi, Kenzie Whalen, Grace Beck, Nicole Schlenk, Tiffany Hanson, Sydney Hjelle.

Returning regulars (goals-assists): Soph. Chloe Torgerson (all-conference, 20-13), sr. Kora Jordheim (all-conference, 13-4), sr. Breanna Olson (all-conference, 13-9), jr. Sydney Sayler (all-conference), jr. Brynn Hillman (8-4), sr. Macy Skyberg (3-4), sr. Avery Kovar (4-2), jr. Chelsey Afshari (1-5), jr. Riley Regorrah, jr. Emmy Heisler (0-1).

Potential new impact players: Jr. Dezi Bushaw, soph. Grace Kronlund (injured last season), 8th-grader Kara Ellis.

Green Wave coach Bina says: "We graduated a great senior class. But these kids put in a lot of time into their game over the summer. They're better players now than they were last year. We have a lot of quality kids, great players with a lot of experience. Chloe, Kora, Breanna and Brynn are a really strong group of forwards. We return most of our defenders. Where we took a hit from graduation is at midfield and in goal.''
