UND and Minnesota are both ranked in the national top 10 ahead of this weekend’s rivalry series.
The Fighting Hawks jumped four spots to No. 4 after a sweep of St. Lawrence, while Minnesota dropped one spot after a weekend split against Penn State.
The last time both teams were ranked in the top 10 before a series was Jan. 18-19, 2013, in Mariucci Arena. That was their last matchup as Western Collegiate Hockey Association foes. Minnesota was ranked No. 1 at the time and UND was No. 6.
