Brenden Bethke led the Eagles on the mound, striking out eight KCC batters.

KCC's Bryden Swenson struck out seven Sacred Heart batters.

Brookelyn Dew scored at 67 minutes to give Fargo Shanley the road win over Grand Forks Central on Saturday in girls soccer.

Brianna Myrold had seven saves in goal for Central.

West Fargo sweeps

West Fargo swept Grand Forks Red River in prep softball Saturday, beating the Roughriders 14-0 and 6-4.

Teresa Mattson and Quinn Kuntz each went 1-for-2 for Red River in the opener.

Mattson was 2-for-3 in the second game while Julia Soleim went 1-for-2.

Central 19, Turtle Mountain 2

BELCOURT, N.D.-Grand Forks Central wrapped up its prep softball season Saturday with a win over Turtle Mountain.

Madi Herbeck went 4-for-5 with four RBI for the Knights while Rachael Meyer and Taiylor Ellingson each had three hits.

Willow Rynestad stuck out 11 Turtle Mountain batters in the five inning game.

Central wraps up its season at 7-18.
