FARGO -- The Missouri Valley Football Conference’s agreement with ESPN is sure to cause issues for fans wanting to watch the North Dakota State at Missouri State football game on Saturday, Nov. 10.
It will only be available on ESPN-plus, the premium subscription service available on ESPN.com. It will not be televised on the North Dakota NBC Network, which carries the other 10 Bison regular season games. Fargo station KVLY is part of the NBC network.
It’s part of the Valley’s contract with ESPN that calls for eight league games to be produced as a “Game of the Week” package. On Saturday, that happens to be NDSU at Missouri State.
The eight games are produced and distributed by Tupelo Raycom from Indianapolis, Ind., the league’s digital production agency.
The game is available at local bars and restaurants that have the proper access to ESPN.com.
