JORDAN, Minn. -- Sacred Heart bounced back from a semifinal loss earlier Friday to achieve the highest place in the Minnesota Class A high school baseball tournament in the history of the Eagles' program.
Sacred Heart beat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 13-3 in the third-place game.
The Eagles broke the game open with a seven-run sixth inning, expanding their one-run lead to an 11-3 advantage.
Will Rohrich hit a two-run home run -- his second homer of the tournament -- and Brady Klein had a two-run single to highlight the sixth.
Sacred Heart finished with 16 hits in the game, with nine players contributing at least one hit.

Brenden Bethke led the way with three hits. Cullen Rohrich, Gage Wavra (double, triple), Ian Evavold, Sam Gapp and Klein had two hits each. For Klein, those were the first two hits of the season for the senior. Wavra had a game-high four RBI.
Oscar Ortiz picked up the pitching win. The senior allowed three runs (one earned) and four hits in 5.1 innings, striking out seven.
Sacred Heart finished the season with a 15-9 record.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg went 21-4.
