Former Fargo North standout Tom Ebert was drafted by the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday.
Ebert, a pitcher at Florida International, was taken in the 19th round by Boston with the 588th overall pick.
At Florida International this year, Ebert was 6-4 in 12 starts with two complete game shutouts. He struck out 77 in 77 innings and posted 3.74 ERA. He is a 2006 graduate of Fargo North.
