FARGO -- Grand Forks Red River put together a fourth-quarter rally Friday night.
But it wasn't enough to dig out of a big hole.
Fargo South quarterback Wyatt Hanson connected with receiver Bless Flomo for three touchdown passes -- 13, 7 and 14 yards -- to open a three-score lead. It was enough for the Bruins to hang on for a 28-21 win over the Roughriders.
Red River quarterback Parker Monette threw back-to-back touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to Bryce Enerson and Cole Benson to pull within a score of the Bruins.
