FARGO -- Grand Forks Red River is one win away from a state title and a perfect season in volleyball.
The Roughriders swept Fargo North 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 here Friday in the semifinals of the North Dakota Class A state high school tournament. The win advances the Roughriders into Saturday's state final against Bismarck Century, which beat Fargo Shanley 3-1 in the semifinals.
Hadley Steffen had a match-high 19 kills and Annika Strand added 14 to lead the Red River offense, with Shelby Bommserbach getting 40 assists.
Mikelle Fetsch had 24 digs for the Riders.
North was led by Kira Larson, who had 12 kills.
