PERHAM, Minn. -- In a matchup of dual-threat quarterbacks, Perham's Jordan Hein had the upper hand on Wednesday.
Hein rushed for 212 yards, passed for 109 and scored four touchdowns to push Perham to a 35-28 win over East Grand Forks Senior High in the final game of the regular season.
The Green Wave now wait to learn the results of the QRF system, which is used to seed the Minnesota Section 8AAA playoffs.
"In the second half, we had three drives stall on their 30-yard line," Senior High coach Scott Oliver said. "We turned the ball over on downs each time. That was the difference. We were moving the ball all night, but we couldn't move the chains one more time.
"But I was very, very proud and pleased with our effort. We certainly fought hard and competed."

Perham bolted to a 14-0 lead after one quarter thanks to a pair of Hein runs -- 50 and 20 yards.
But the Green Wave tied the game at 21 at halftime. Senior High quarterback Nick Erickson scored on three rushing touchdowns -- of 3, 5 and 4 yards.
Erickson, a junior, ended with 134 rushing yards on 26 carries. He was also 9-for-15 for 188 yards through the air.
"It was a tale of two quarterbacks," Oliver said. "Perham has a very good quarterback. Our quarterback also stepped up and played well in the second, third and fourth quarters."
Senior High cut the Perham lead to 35-28 in the fourth quarter on a Ryan Brown 7-yard pass from Erickson with a little more than three minutes to go.
The Green Wave attempted an onside kick, but the try didn't go the necessary 10 yards.
The Yellowjackets drained out the clock from there.
