Shelby Norlin had 17 assists to lead Thief River Falls past East Grand Forks Sacred Heart 25-11, 25-14, 25-18 on Tuesday.
Brooke Yaggie and Taylor Storm led the Prowlers with six kills each.

"Scores weren't representative of how we played tonight," Sacred Heart coach Leah Marti said. "I loved the energy and intensity tonight."
Brittany Hammond had six kills and an ace to lead Sacred Heart.
Sacred Heart will face Crookston at home on Thursday.

Marina Galstad scored two goals for East Grand Forks Senior High as the Green Wave blanked Crookston on Tuesday.
"It was a good offensive showing today," Senior High coach Jessica Krog said. "The cold wind and weather was an obstacle."

Five Senior High goals were in the first half. "We gave up only one shot," Krog said. "We buried our chances and attacked when we needed to."
The Green Wave will face Detroit Lakes on Thursday.

Cody Williamson scored an unassisted goal in the closing minutes to give East Grand Forks Senior High a tie against Moorhead on Tuesday. Williamson's goal came in the 80th minute as time was winding down.
"I thought we played well today, especially considering weather conditions," Senior High coach Matt Stengl said. "We had a rough start, but battled back with scoring our goal in the final minutes."
The tie moves the Green Wave to 4-2-1 on the year. Senior High will take on Detroit Lakes at home Thursday.

- Boys tennis: Grand Forks Red River put on a clinic against a young Fargo South team Tuesday, defeating the host Bruins 9-0. Roughriders coach Greg LaDouceur liked what he saw from the bottom of his lineup, No. 6 singles player Kris Lommen and the No. 3 doubles tandem of brothers Daniel and Josh Pierce. They all picked up their first career dual wins. "I was happy to see how those guys responded," said LaDouceur, whose team is 6-0 on the year. "You never know how they're going to do when they get thrown into their first varsity meet." Red River hosts Grand Forks Central on Thursday at the Register Courts.
- Girls volleyball: Keli Johnson recorded a match-high 18 kills for Fargo North as the Spartans defeated Grand Forks Central 25-16, 21-25, 25-16, 25-14. Katelyn Olson tallied 12 kills, three blocks and nine assists for Central.
- Girls volleyball: Ericka Beito scored 25 assists for Roseau, which defeated East Grand Forks Senior High 3-0. Senior High's Karly Nelson tallied nine kills and one ace. Rachael Kuznia recorded 8 assists. The Green Wave will face Red Lake County Central on Thursday.
- Girls volleyball: Hadley Steffen had 26 kills to lead Grand Forks Red River to a 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 25-20 victory over Fargo Davies on Tuesday. Annika Strand added 20 kills and Shelby Bommersbach pitched in 42 assists for the Roughriders.
