WAHPETON, N.D. -- A fine line exists between winning and losing, especially for a team that was closing in on an undefeated season.

"We just had a few plays that didn't go our way," Red River coach Jason Gregory said.
Gregory said Bontjes was off-balance when he launched his shot.
The Riders led 38-35 at halftime.
Mac Kroeplin led Red River with 23 points. Mack Arvidson pitched in 15 points and Tyler Burris added 10 for the Riders.
Bontjes finished with 15 points, a team-high for the Huskies.
