Grand Forks Central played to a tie with West Fargo behind goals from Nicki Dogan, Lexi Spinetta and Sophie Woinarowicz.
“It was a really back and forth game,” said Knights coach George DuBois. “It was a game that tested us both mentally and physically.”

Central received seven saves from goalie Karleigh Gause.
The Knights, who are now 2-10-2, will play at Fargo South on Thursday.

EGF Sacred Heart 2
WARROAD, Minn. - Hannah Christian hit the game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh as Warroad beat East Grand Forks Sacred Heart on Tuesday.
“It was a well played game with some good defensive battles,” said Sacred Heart coach Mike Marek. “We just have to finish at the right opportunity and string together some timely hits. We left eight runners on base in the first four innings.”
Krista DeMolee also went 1-for-3 with a home run for the Warriors. Suzie Dalen received the win on the mound for Warroad.
Michele Remer and Hannah Reimer each had a pair of hits to lead the Eagles.

Sacred Heart drops to an even 6-6 on the season. They will play at Red Lake County Central on Thursday.
Roughriders sweep Firebirds
Grand Forks Red River defeated Devils Lake 7-6 and 13-3 in a home doubleheader Tuesday.
The Roughriders were led by Maddie and Bri Makvosky in Game 1 with two hits each. Jenna Windjue led the Firebirds in the first game with a triple and three RBI.
Jerrica Rosendahl and Bri Makvosky led Red River in Game 2, each batting 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI.
Red River improves to 10-7 on the season. They will play cross town rival Grand Forks Central at 4 p.m. today.
EGF Senior High 7,
Badger-Greenbush-MR 6
GREENBUSH, Minn. - East Grand Forks Senior High defeated Badger-Greenbush-Middle River on Tuesday in extra innings behind Jayden Boushey’s 4-for-5 hitting at the plate and three runs batted in.

“We bent a little but we didn’t break,” said Green Wave coach Heidi Spicer. “We had timely hitting and good pitching. We hit the ball when we needed to.”
Karly Nelson picked up the win on the mound for Senior High. Nelson also went 3-for-5 at the plate.
The Green Wave, who improved to 10-2, will play a triangular format on Thursday in Thief River Falls against Thief River Falls and Detroit Lakes starting at 1:30 p.m.

Brayden Larson went the distance on the mound to lead Badger-Greenbush-Middle River to a 5-3 win over East Grand Forks Sacred Heart Tuesday.
“We had that one inning that did us in again,” said Sacred Heart coach Paul Bethke. “We have to do a better job of putting the ball in play.”

Larson and Wyatt Peppel led the BGMR offense with two hits each. Joe Kvidt was charged with the loss on the mound.
Sacred Heart drops to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles will host Norman County on Thursday at Stauss Field.
