WILLISTON -- Grand Forks survived an early push by Williston to skate to a road victory Friday night.
Peyton LeNoir and Allison Mulroy scored first period goals to give the KnightRiders the early advantage.
"(Williston) came at us right away in the first, but Jerrica Rosendahl made four or five big saves for us," Grand Forks coach Darin Schumacher said. "But then we got a few good, hard-working goals. After that, we were able to take control of the game in their zone."

Maddie Johnson scored the Coyotes' lone goal in the second, but Lexi O'Halloran added another Grand Forks goal in the third period to extend the lead to 3-1.
Rosendahl had 27 saves for the visitors, who will continue their road trip against Minot at 2 p.m. today.
Senior High 3,
Roseau 2
East Grand Forks Senior High managed to hold off Roseau on Friday night at the East Grand Forks Civic Center.
CoCo Piche led Senior High with a goal and an assist.
"We were lucky to get one more goal than they did," said Senior High coach Jim Scanlan.
Senior High's Madi Galstad stopping 24 shots in net while Roseau's Jenna Baumgartner finished with 20 saves.

BOYS HOCKEY
Fargo South 4,
GF Red River 3, SO
Tyler Bossert scored two goals and an assist to lead Fargo South to a 4-3 shootout win over Grand Forks Red River on Friday night.
"We came out hard in the first and second but they jumped on us in the third and took over from there," said Red River coach Bill Chase. "We played hard but couldn't another one to go in."
Red River received goals from Jayce Turner, Cody Kuntz, and Jordan Lunski.
The Roughriders will host Devils Lake on Tuesday.

Senior High 72,
Grand Rapids 50
Kelsey Schlenk poured a career high 37 points to lead East Grand Forks Senior High past Grand Rapids on Friday in the Green Wave gym. Her 11 three pointers set a new school record. It was the third-straight game in which Schlenk has scored 27 or more points.
Senior High won its third straight.
Karlee Westrem added 12 for Senior High while Ellen Potter finished with 11.
"We found the hot hand, and the bench gave us great minutes all night," said Senior High coach Emily Ruemmele. "Hopefully we keep the momentum going for the game (today) against Hibbing."
The Green Wave led 43-25 at the half.
