Alexis Robson scored 20 points to lead Grand Forks Red River past visiting Wahpeton on Friday night. The No. 3-ranked Riders improved to 13-2.
Red River led 23-6 at the half.
“We had a really good defensive effort,” said Red River coach Kent Ripplinger. “And we did a good job of finding the open player.”

Kylie Dvorak came off the bench to score 12 points for Red River, while Danica Kemnitz finished with 10.
Hannah Arason finished with nine assists.

Clearbrook-Gonvick 55
CLEARBROOK, Minn. - Devin Evavold registered a double-double as Sacred Heart defeated Clearbrook-Gonvick on the road Friday.
Evavold scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Dylan Brandner led the Eagles in scoring with 14 points, while Brenden Bethke added 12.
“It was a great win on the road at this time of the year,” said Sacred Heart coach Destry Sterkel. “Dylan and Brenden did a great job of coming off the bench and getting 26 points for us.”

WAHPETON, N.D. - Grand Forks Red River improved to 9-5 with its win at Wahpeton on Friday night.
Braedan Hanson led the Riders with 25 points while Austin Slaughter and Karter Rowekamp finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
“We brought the energy right away and it all started at the defensive end,” said Red River coach Kirby Krefting. “We played well in all aspects of the game.”
Red River led 42-20 at the half.
The Riders play Valley City on Tuesday.

Boys swimming: Mandan defeated the Grand Forks KnightRiders 128-58 in a dual on Friday. The KnightRiders’ Ben Regorrah was the lone Grand Forks swimmer to win an individual event. Regorrah won the 100 freestyle, finishing in 53.58 seconds. The KnightRiders also won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:38.35.
