The threat of inclement weather has resulted in postponements or schedule adjustments in several area basketball tournaments scheduled for today.
North Dakota Class A East Region quarterfinal games will be played Thursday, at the same times and sites. Grand Forks Red River will host a doubleheader Thursday, with the girls playing Fargo South at 5:30 p.m., followed by Fargo North's boys team at Red River at 7:30 p.m. Grand Forks Central teams will be on the road Thursday, with the girls at Fargo Davies for a 5:30 p.m. game and the boys at Wahpeton for a 7 p.m. game.
In Minnesota Section 8AAA girls basketball, quarterfinal games will be played Thursday, East Grand Forks Senior High will be at Fergus Falls in a 7 p.m. game, while Thief River Falls hosts Detroit Lakes at 7:30 p.m.
Today's Section 8A girls basketball tournament play-in games have some time changes. Those include: Fertile-Beltrami at Badger-Greenbush-Middle River, 6 p.m.; Climax-Fisher at Goodridge-Grygla, 6 p.m.; Blackduck at Mahnomen, 5:30 p.m.; and Laporte at Cass Lake-Bena, 6 p.m.
