Pete Miley of Grafton, N.D., released this 64½-inch sturgeon April 10 at the Gap off Pine Island on Lake of the Woods while fishing with Dolf Oldenburg and Brad Arin, also of Grafton. Based on the DNR's length-girth chart, the fish weighed 75 pounds. It also had a DNR tag. According to Arin, who submitted the photo, Miley had only caught one other sturgeon previously, and that fish also was tagged. "What are the odds of catching two sturgeon in your life and both are tagged?" he said.
