FARGO - Park River's Jackson Hankey made his debut on the Fargodome turf Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1.
For Hankey, this was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
Hankey, a Park River native, redshirted last fall as he adjusted to Division 1 football. He saw his first reps at linebacker during spring football and opened the eyes of the coaching staff.
Hankey was a multi-sport standout at Park River-Fordville-Lankin, winning state championships in football and baseball.
He walked on to the Bison football team and saw his first game action Saturday against Cal Poly, registering six tackles.
