A guide service dedicated to providing hunting and fishing opportunities for disabled military veterans has reached a deal with the Grand Forks Scheels store to sell T-shirts as a fundraiser.
David Morse, who founded the Grand Forks chapter of Wounded Warriors Guide Service, designed the shirts, which the Scheels store purchased.
According to Morse, Scheels will make a donation to Wounded Warriors Guide Service for each shirt sold. Proceeds from the sales will stay local, Morse said, and will fund adventures for disabled veterans.
The potential for other Scheels stores to follow suit will depend on the promotion's success in Grand Forks, said Morse, who manages the store's hunting department.
