• Monday: Program, "Cavity Nesting Birds of the Red River Valley," 6:30 p.m., East Grand Forks Campbell Library. Heidi Hughes of the Agassiz Audubon Society will lead the program.

• April 13: Archery 101, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sullys Hill National Game Preserve near Fort Totten, N.D. Learn the basics of shooting a bow and arrow; for all ages. Info: (701) 766-4272.

• May 18: Intro to morel mushroom hunting, 10 a.m. to noon, Zippel Bay State Park, Minn. Join park staff on a hunt for the area's most sought-after fungi. • May 26 through July 7: Bog Watcher Sundays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lake Bemidji State Park. Naturalist will rove the boardwalk to help visitors locate flowers of the bog.
