Shooting

• June 1: Junior Sporting Clays Shooting League begins, 7 p.m., Dakota Hunting Club and Kennels sporting clays range, 1854 11th Ave. N.E., west of Grand Forks. Open to youth shooters 10 to 18 years old. Fee is $30 for beginners, $45 for intermediate (second year) and $60 for advanced shooters. First night will be registration and orientation, with seven weeks of shooting Monday nights beginning at 7 p.m. June 8 and concluding with a year-end shoot, picnic and awards night at 7 p.m. July 27. • June 4 through July 23: Ladies Clay Target Shooting program, 6:30 p.m., Dakota Hunting Club sporting clays range, 1854 11th Ave. N.E., west of Grand Forks. Five certified National Sporting Clays Association instructors will be on hand to help shooters. Cost is $40 for the season, and participants must supply their own shells. Shotguns will be provided for those who don't have one. League officially begins June 11, with subsequent sessions June 18, June 25, July 9, July 16 and July 23.
