• Today: Bog-watcher Sundays, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Lake Bemidji State Park. The park's naturalist will be roving the boardwalk to help locate flowers of the bog. Info: John Fylpaa, (218) 308-2300 or John.Fylpaa@state.mn.us .

• Thursday: Blue Goose Day, 5 to 8:30 p.m., Audubon National Wildlife Refuge, N.D. Family-oriented evening includes marksmanship lessons with air rifles and bows and arrows. Participants also will learn how to build a nesting box for birds. A free picnic lunch will be served. No pre-registration required. Best suited for ages 6 to 12, but all ages are welcome.
