Events
Park vehicle passes are required for all events at North Dakota and Minnesota state parks. Vehicle passes are $7 daily and $35 annually in both states.
Oct. 20: Finley Wildlife Club’s annual Youth Pheasant Hunt. Registration required beginning at 7 a.m. in the Finley American Legion Hall, 600 Lincoln Ave., Finley, N.D., Maps will be available at registration, and hunt is free for youth and adults who take a young hunter afield. Oct. 26-27: Sighting-in days, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Forks Rifle Club W.G. Coulter Range, 8½ miles west of Merrifield, N.D., on Grand Forks County Road 6 (2051 12th Ave. NE, Emerado, ND). The range will be open to the public, and rifle club personnel will be running the range and helping hunters sight in their firearms in advance of the upcoming deer season.
