BISMARCK — Casey Anderson, North Dakota Game and Fish wildlife division chief, joins host Mike Anderson to discuss the condition of wildlife this winter.
Casey Anderson said that because the region didn't receive snow until mid to late December has helped retain food sources for deer.
Anderson explains how ringneck pheasants, sharptail grouse and other species are affected by winter weather.
"The week is designed to help raise public awareness for aquatic nuisance species and the steps we can take to prevent them from getting into our waterways," says Ben Holen, North Dakota Game and Fish Department ANS coordinator.
