ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Valley Football Conference announced today that North Dakota State running back Pat Paschall has been suspended for one game for fighting in the fourth quarter of NDSU's game against Northern Iowa on Saturday.

After a review of relevant video and interviews with involved parties, it is the conference's determination that Paschall's conduct during an out-of-bounds play constituted fighting in accordance with NCAA Rule 9-5.

In consultation with NCAA National Coordinator Dave Parry, Secretary-Rules Editor Rogers Redding and the Missouri Valley Football Coordinator of Officials Bill Carollo, the conference has determined a one-game suspension, as prescribed by NCAA rules, is appropriate.
