North Dakota football: Santiago staying humble after receiving preseason All-American honor

Tomorrow is the beginning of August which means UND football is right around the corner.

The team has their first practice of the fall on Thursday morning and two of their players received big time preseason accolades today.

Deion Harris and John Santiago were named STATS FCS Preseason Second Team All-Americans.

Harris, who did not play last season due to an injury to his achilles tendon, made the second team as a defensive back. In 2016, he led the Big Sky with five interceptions.

Santiago who made the second team as an all-purpose player, led all of the FCS with 1,780 all-purpose yards during the 2017 season.
